We are now looking for a summer substitute at Högås daily activities who wants to make the world a little better, one person at a time! We want to find you who want a fun and educational summer job where you get to work in direct social work and support people with functional variations towards development.

About the role

In your role as a summer substitute (assistant coach), you support, motivate, and enable development for people with various functional variations. You may meet individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and neuropsychiatric disorders.

The operations are individually designed. We base our work on the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all, resources! This means that the activities vary from person to person. Your tasks as an assistant coach may therefore vary depending on which participants you work with.

About Högås daily activities

At Högås DV, we work with activities in various forms. We offer physical activities such as circuit training, walks in the local area and on the Sörmlandsleden, as well as chair yoga. We also have our own swimming area where we can swim and fish in the summer.

In the creative activities, we offer activities such as music, painting, crafts, knitting, and more. We use various materials, and the activities follow the events of the year to create understanding and meaning in what we do.

Högås daily activities are located in a forest and nature area ten minutes from Vagnhärad, about 50 minutes south of Stockholm and 35 minutes from Södertälje and Nyköping.

Your experience and knowledge

It is advantageous to have knowledge of the target group, relevant education, or to be studying in healthcare and social care. Examples of relevant education can be nursing assistant, preschool teacher, behavioral scientist, occupational therapist, social worker, social educator, public health researcher, or health educator. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our employees' best interests at heart in everything you do.
